Overview

Established in 1933, Hillier Hopkins LLP is now one of the region’s leading independent Chartered Accountants with four offices in London and the home counties. They provide advice and support to individuals and businesses ranging from small family enterprises to large international corporations.

After many years residing at the opposite end of Clarendon Road, Hillier Hopkins decided to relocate in favour of a high spec, glass fronted building that was more in keeping with the profile that they wanted to project to both their existing and prospective clients.

Overview

The client’s storage requirements were one of the main challenges of the project. This was overcome with the inclusion of a mobile racking system.

Careful attention was paid to the design of the meeting rooms. They were partly formed by stylish faceted glass comprising of ‘O’ post sections, which seamlessly linked with a silicone jointed, glass system for the partners’ offices.

Ivan Young, from Interior Options explains, ‘Our design ensures that the partners offices reflect and enhance the natural glass architectural feel, whilst ensuring a vast amount of ‘borrowed light’ is captured and funnelled through to the open plan, efficient working space centrally. Using two carpet colours, the walkways were separated from the working areas and by using a palette of neutral tones throughout we enhanced the sense of space.’
